I hate having to get up extremely early because I’ve got a 9am meeting! Sucks royally. And given that it’s now approaching winter, the darkness outside really doesn’t help!
Have to admit though, that once in the gym, I quickly got into flow and things went well. Again, new routine, some tough elements, pushed reasonably hard… and got through it all, which was pretty awesome
So altogether, things are going great! Had a peak at my arms while doing my bicep curls, and starting to get more definition on those arms now

On a tangent… I wanted to calculate my ‘target weights’ if I want 15 or 12% bodyday:
- 15% bodyfat = 165lbs
- 12% bodyfat = 160lbs
These numbers are based on the fact that I lose no more muscle! Personally I don’t want to see myself less than 160lbs. 170lbs was my original goal, and I’m dipping beneath that to achieve this! So – I’m going to have to see how things go. My ideal – as documented many times – is in the region of 170-180lbs. That’ll be my goal in the bulking phase… I don’t want to be extremely slim… it’s just not me. I enjoy being a slightly bigger guy. We’ll see where I end up though – it’s important – as discussed – to let my body guide me on this journey. Fingers crossed.
Oh – and the other thing to mention… I’m considering going back on the Animal Cuts for a week the week after next. That all depends on my results from this week. To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised (but entirely depressed), if I lose little or actually put on weight this week – primarily due to the loss of water from last week… I’ll’ve put on water this week, which’ll play around with my overall weight. We’ll see – hopefully the bodyfat will be able to distinguish between water and fat! But that may be hoping for too much!
