Days 5 & 6

Weekend was good… I was extremely thorough in the meals and nutrition. I did about 4.5 hours of walking on the Saturday, which was fantastic – albeit exhausting. So I think it was a successful weekend.

I was also extremely productive – I finally finished off my photo books – that’s all 4 of them! Took me the whole weekend to filter through all the photos and lay them all out, but it was worth it. The books are looking fantastic on screen – I’m very proud of them. I’m taking them to the printing place later today – so I’m excited to get them printed. I’m hoping to pick them up sometime this week. Fingers crossed – the printer hasn’t confirmed that yet tho :s

I had one situation over the weekend that raised some alarm bells though… I was with a friend and we popped into Starbucks… seeing the wealth of bad food there made me want some, and I had to fight quite hard to prevent myself from going there. The past week has been very easy to manage because I’ve been quite insular – at home, working on stuff. I haven’t been out and about very much. I haven’t had the opportunity to be tempted. This coming week will be quite the opposite – I have meals planned for 3 nights this week. So I’m going to have to be on top of that – very careful about what I choose and where I go. No spoilers. No treats.
