Truth be Told…

OK – so being honest, today’s been a hard day. The reaction to the Anabolic Window – learning that one of my co-workers died from a heart attack – the remnants of the fever from the weekend (and the burn – ouch!) – it’s been a tough day to keep focussed. Been pretty tired… exhausted comes close.

But – I’ve maintained most of the eating plan. And the gym was great this morning. I slept after work (I think), and am gonna chill tonight (probably with a protein bar and then casein tonight).

Day Ten

Sitting down at my computer before heading down to the gym. Got my SuperPump250 to the side of me. Just had my first sip. Tastes good. I’m nervous and excited at the same time. Always feel that way before I have a new supplement, especially one that’s meant to BOOST you up! Scared whether I’m going to have a negative reaction to it (yet never happened before).

Also – this’ll be my first time doing my full 5 day workout. Shoulders today. After the sunburn I got at the weekend, god knows how things are going to go today… but I’m gonna give it my best shot…

Days Seven thru Nine

So – went camping and canoeing this weekend out on Georgian Bay. Packed lots of protein bars to keep me happy and focussed. Sadly – the sun got the better of my on Saturday, and had some form of serious sunburn on Sunday! Woke up, was sick, couldn’t eat, had a fever and when that went by the early evening, had a headache for the rest of the night. Not nice. Sadly – that had major repercussions on my food in take for the rest of the weekend – ie. didn’t eat a whole lot. Boo.

Aaron’s Transformation

transm177_cHere’s another transformation to gawk at… a large guy to begin with – the started his training with the goal of getting healthy – then, as things started to snowball, he found out how much he could accomplish. In the end he was training for a trialathalon – and looks amazing too.

Sounds like he already had a reasonable frame from lifting for football in college… He really talks about how important nutrition is… and ain’t that the truth.

Steven’s Transformation

steven_nestoresmSteven’s from bodybuilding.com and he did an amazing transformation… he went from 150lbs to 180lbs over the course of 2 years – he started when he was 25 (just like me LOL), and ended when he was 27. The results are pretty cool.

Also – the exercise plan he’s using is close to the one I’ve got for July… perhaps use it in August / September.

Day Five

Still going really strong!!!

Last night was out with two friends… for a wine night. But I was good – out of 3 bottles, I think I managed to only have about 1/2 a bottle, and left at 10, so was in bed by a reasonable time. Wasn’t in the best headspace for working out this morning, but pushed through and did a reasonable job.

Day Four

Next workout is done… and psyched again. Was a good workout… started pushing myself a bit more… upper the number of sets, and tried to maintain form throughout (not always possible!).

And you know… I realized something…
